The Presentation Night was held on Wednesday 11th February. A good time was had by all. We had a few laugh's, a pint-or-three and a sing-along on the Kareoke ! Photos taken on the night can been seen here.

AGM - 9 February 2009: There was only one major change. Playing format for next season was changed to 5 Singles and 2 Doubles. It was agreed to hold a pre-season meeting on the 23rd Feb (Red River), where captains will be given Fixtures for the 2009/10 Season.

28 January 2009: The Peacock triumph over the the Bridge to win the KO Plate Final and the Red River win the KO Cup against the Brewery .

R McPherson & M Hammond win the 2008/2009 Doubles final against strong opposition from the Red River team: D Horan & T Griffiths. The Britannia Doubles partnership held off their opposition with some very good play, M Hammond would have won the match during the second frame but for the white going in after he had sunk the black ball. It was left for his partner (R McPherson) to clinch the match in the 3rd frame following an almost perfect 5 ball clearance by D Horan.

Kyle Brown (Red River) triumphs over John Daly (Costello's) to win the Individuals Finals. A hard fought match, with both finalists playing some excellent pool. Kyle produced a superb clearance to win the final frame to seal the match 3-2. Played on 7th January 2009, at the Red River.

Furness Cricket have withdrawn from the league. ALL points from the 2nd half of the season will be deducted from the League (Div 1). Treat all games v the F.C.C. as a bye.

Doubles (Semi Finals) draw has been made, to be played on 26 November.

Four Man (Semi Finals) results are in, played on the 5 November.

Doubles (Quarter Finals) results are in, played on the 8 October.

The Sheffield has closed (Div 1). The Sheffield team is now playing from the Red River.
Kelly's (Div 2). Kelly's is now playing from the Harbour.

Rifleman's (Div 2), White House (Div 1) and Cavendish Arms (Div 2) are OUT of the League.
Please remember that the King Alfred (who the Cav Arms replaced!) are also out of the League.
